Bigger Visions of Athens
Bigger Visions of Athens runs a Winter Homeless Shelter from mid-October to mid-April, providing overnight housing to 15 people and free food (all based on donations and volunteer work, as available) to its residents and anyone else who stops by. Volunteers are always in need as are donations of warm clothing and food.

Northeast Georgia Community Connection - 211
Northeast Georgia Community Connection is a collaborative effort to grant equal access to resources in the community. A free service, simply dial 211 to speak with a representative and get the answers you need regarding resources. The 211 database can also be accessed online (it is constantly being updated) here.
